Early on, a manager jokingly called me a pistol.

She was right. Over the years, I've grown that potential into becoming a strategic partner who leaders can count on to GSD.

I currently lead AI/ML communications and policy engagement at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, advising senior scientific leadership and helping 9,000+ scientists and engineers understand what AI means for their work and their future. I founded LLNL's AI/ML Advisory Lightning Taskforce, which delivered 18 rapid policy reviews in its first year and engaged directly with California legislators on AI legislation. Before LLNL, I built marketing and communications programs at Cisco, Incident IQ, BryterCX, and the CDC that delivered measurable results, from $24M in qualified pipeline to a 2,500% increase in leads to communications programs that reached millions.
 

The organizations I serve can count on me to support a positive work culture through adept management of people and resources; generate and nurture leads through advertising, content marketing, and marketing automation; develop impactful content that converts; partner across the organization to achieve company objectives; stand up and manage digital channels that present a company's best self online and effectively engage customers; and build communications and marketing programs that serve as business drivers.

When I'm not working, I'm spending time with my college-aged kids, training in boxing, arranging flowers, and exploring the beautiful Bay Area, including summiting Mt. Whitney.

 

My approach to work is not unlike my approach to life: a healthy mix of joy, curiosity, and sweat equity makes the journey meaningful.
