For Cybersecurity Month 2022, our Field Marketing team wanted to take advantage of this time to provide education on cyber topics and to encourage enrollment for our cybersecurity courses.
The campaign work started with setting clear goals, developing messages, and creating a project plan/timeline. After planning, the first thing I did was work with the agency to develop the brand identity for the campaign.

Some of the original content I developed for the campaign included a quiz, a video series, social posts for the month, and all of the website content.

I made a content calendar for our social content. For the social posts, in order to amplify our impact, I developed a promotion tool for our instructors so they could share our message with their audience.
Here is a glimpse of the website as well as an infographic I worked on with a graphic designer.

Here are some campaign results:
You’ve Been Hacked! Video Series
Generated 802 page visits (710 unique visitors)
2:44 Average time on page with a 53% bounce rate
Most people were viewing from mobile (69%)
61% of traffic from social, then bookmarked (26%), then organic search (9%)
Most visits happened on Nov. 20 (543 visits)
Most popular in US (13% of audience)
107 downloads of cybersecurity infographic from this page
530 views of Oceans 8 episode (of which 35 watched 100%)
Cybersecurity website
Generated 1,376 website visits (1,189 unique visitors)
2:32 Average time on page with a 33% bounce rate (very low and reflects high engagement with the microsite)
328 users clicked ”Enroll” button CTA, showing enrollment intent
Most people were viewing from mobile so content needs to be very mobile-friendly (and be reviewed/edited for mobile)
Most popular CTAs were: Become cyber savvy (7.7%), Here’s why (6.9%), and Take quiz (5.7%)
We’re 3X more popular in India than in any other country (then Nigeria, US, and Brazil)
A high percentage have our page bookmarked or saved (12.6% of traffic)
130 downloads of cybersecurity infographic
See Yourself in Cyber quiz: 4,854 submissions providing valuable insights about our audience (results)
